Not all horses are the same.
As you get closer to these ones, you see that what appeared to be horses, albeit of a different hue, are in fact unicorns.
You don't need to get too close. Even before you can see the horn, these creatures give off a sense of the otherworldly. Their bodies shuffle and shiver with the wind; they ripple like they were made of leaves. Indeed, as you draw closer still, you can see that every one of the equine shapes appears to be composed of rose petals.
The unicorns continue about their business, grazing, nursing their foals, dozing. Being made of flowers does not seem to hinder them, nor do they seem threatened by your presence. However, even if you should strive to get close enough to touch one, your steps will not carry you any nearer. They will always remain at something of a distance, unreachable.
